Long time no see! Seven years ago, I took a position with one of my favorite clients, Studio Simpatico, as the head of their web development team. In those years I loved working with other developers and mentoring our junior hires into seniors. However, our industry changes so much, so fast, that I find myself back in the freelancing game!

You probably don’t remember the old website design (it’s ok, it was OUTDATED for sure), but I’ve worked hard on this new design to keep it minimal and showcase the great work I’ve been doing (if I do say so myself!). I’ve spent time making sure this site is accessible and fast on both desktop and mobile devices. If you see any issues, please feel free to reach out and let me know!

For something to brag about, on desktop I’m pulling a *99* in Lighthouse!

Google lighthouse score of 99 on desktop!

And on mobile, a 98!

Google lighthouse score of 98 on mobile!

As the weeks go by, I’ll definitely be working on improving these, perhaps I can get to a perfect 100 score! (the perfectionist in me is itching).

So what does that mean for work? I’m accepting new clients again!

I’ll be updating this blog a whole lot more again, with new snippets and techniques, and any other fun piece of functionality I think should be shared. I’ll also be writing up how my dev process has changed in the past several years – especially when it comes to my Super HIjinksified theme, which has gone through cha-cha-cha-changes!

Until then, it’s been great to see ya’ll again, let’s not let another 7 years go by before we talk again!
